Training

5K next month.  By the ocean.  Should be good.

Following a *real* intermediate training plan this time instead of just my own screwing around.

Transitions

I feel strong... But I don't feel particularly fast lately.

Also.. Something always slightly hurts these days.  Not bad.  But I'm also never quite 100% anymore.

I wonder if that's just "Welcome to your 40s".

Heat

I've been breaking up the runs to deal with the heat.  After being unseasonably cool for a few weeks, it's now hot again.

Today - 2 miles this morning.  2 miles later tonight.

How will this affect my 10K training?

I don't know!

I'm still getting a big long run in on the weekends.
